Eclipses happen in pairs. There is a solar (sun) and a lunar (moon) eclipse. Eclipses symbolize potent, turbo-charged, unpredictable shifts and energies, similar to a wild card spin. Both are important and symbolize shifts on both the conscious, subconscious, and emotional or feeling levels.

The solar eclipse occurs during a new moon phase. From the actual date of the solar eclipse, the potential unfolds over a 12-month period. Like waves in the ocean, each wave of insight brings opportunity to further integrate the potential and theme(s). Solar eclipse symbolizes “potent” new beginnings. Like little seedlings birthing through the soil during the springtime. What will bloom? Which new paths will become more obvious and offer exciting opportunities?

The lunar eclipse occurs during a full moon phase. From the actual date of the lunar eclipse, the potential unfolds over a six-month period. Like waves in the ocean, each wave brings insight and opportunity to dissolve and let go to create more space for new “symbolic seeds.” It is a potent turbo-charged time to end a chapter, finalize a long-standing issue, closure, end a relationship, or a final culmination of a pattern. Do not underestimate the significance of a lunar eclipse. Think of it as a powerful space to declutter emotionally and on a subconscious level. If we have space, we are able to create and invite in fresh possibilities.

Both eclipses work in harmony and have their unique function and expression in an individual’s evolution and empowerment path. It is best to be flexible with changes and adjustments during these phases.

What or where each eclipse highlights and activates your life depends on where each eclipse is in the soul’s blueprint (natal chart).
